Ray H. Baughman教授是美国国家工程院院士、欧洲科学院外籍院士、欧洲科学与艺术学院院士、俄罗斯自然科学院院士、英国皇家化学学会会士、美国物理学会会士及《科学》期刊学术顾问。2001年他任德克萨斯大学-达拉斯分校讲席教授兼纳米中心主任。
Ray H. Baughman教授是纳米技术研究领域的先驱者。他拥有美国发明专利100余项,发表论文480余篇,包括《科学》和《自然》30余篇,引用次数高达81400余次,H因子为126。他曾获美国化学家协会的化学先锋奖、《科学美国人》杂志50大杰出科技领袖、《时代》杂志年度50大发明等二十余项国际奖项,入选全球顶尖一百位材料学家名人堂。
Brief Introduction of Professor Ray H. Baughman
Professor Ray H. Baughman is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a foreign member of the European Academy of Sciences, the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, an Academician of The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the American Physical Society; and is on the advisory board of Science. In August 2001, he became the Robert A. Welch Chair in Chemistry and Director of the Alan G. MacDiarmid NanoTech Institute at the University of Texas in Dallas.
Professor Ray H. Baughman is a pioneer in the field of nanotechnology. He has 106 issued US patents and 487 refereed publications, with over 81,400 citations and a Web of Science H-index of 126. He has received over 20 International Rewards, such as the Chemical Pioneer Award of the American Institute of Chemists, the Scientific American Magazine 50 recognition for outstanding technological leadership, and Time Magazine recognition in 50 Best Inventions of the Year. He was listed 30th in the Top 100 Material Scientists of the Decade and the Top 1% Most Cited in Cross-Fields.
